Go-Ahead London has just concluded an agreement which sees the routes currently operated by East Thames Buses (previously part of Transport for London) transferring to London General. John Trayner, Managing Director commented, ‘this is good news for Go-Ahead London, I would like to thank all of those people who have been involved in getting it to this stage, and thank all the people who will be involved in getting it to the next stage’.

The transfer involves approx 460 staff operating nine bus routes from garages in Belvedere and Bermondsey (Mandela Way) and is effective from Saturday 3 October 2009
